Nick Perkins

I studied film in Columbus, Ohio and graduated with a BA from the University of Texas RGV. I am currently pursuing my MFA in screenwriting at Emerson College. 

My experiences in micro-budget and no-budget filmmaking has allowed me to think both outside of the box, and as an opportunistic and resourceful creator. Working within smaller financial confines and limited crew has helped me grow into a well rounded problem solver and imaginative leader. My turn on high budget sets with large companies and world renown music artists have helped me tune my professional skills and client work.

As a writer, I like to take the real world as experienced by us all, and retell our stories in beautiful and entertaining ways. I am currently working on A dark dramatic tv series pilot as well as an independent "coming of age" feature script. I'm not whole if I'm not creating, and I like being whole, so let's make something together.
